Debuting February 24–26, 2023 El Camaleón Golf Course made history in 2007 when it became the first PGA TOUR event to ever be contested outside of the United States and Canada. In a mission to continue advancing golf within Latin America, Mayakoba is pleased to partner with LIV Golf to host the first-ever tournament in Latin America, LIV Golf Mayakoba. The tournament will be North America's first LIV Golf League of 2023 and will feature the professional tour's new, innovative style of golf, which prioritizes camaraderie, competition and, above all, fun.

Pioneering The Next Chapter

Mayakoba has been a pioneer of golf within Mexico and Latin America throughout the past 16 years as host of the PGA TOUR’s World Wide Technology Championship. The El Camaleón Golf Course, which was designed by LIV Golf CEO and golf legend Greg Norman, is ranked one of the top courses in Mexico by Golf Digest and has welcomed many of the industry’s most prominent players, including Carlos Ortiz, Armando Favela, Abraham Ancer, Jon Rahm and Eugenio Chacarra. As host of LIV Golf’s first Latin American tournament, Mayakoba will continue its pioneering legacy, generating opportunities for golf professionals to enhance their careers while growing the game internationally. It will also mark a homecoming for Mexico’s top golf professionals as they return home to compete at LIV Golf Mayakoba.
